3D allows postal or zip codes to be imported for specific states or provinces in North America. By importing zip codes you can save time and energy when filling out new job information or adding new contacts. This feature is available for users located in the United States and Canada only. If you are not in the US or Canada, you may manually populate or manage items for autofill using Maintain > Postal Codes.
If you want to easily add signatures to reports but do not want to add it permanently to a particular form group (as discussed in another tips article), an alternate way to do that is by creating an action to insert the image as needed.
If you would like to add a signature image for an inspector to a report and want to make it permanent so all new reports start with the image already present, you can do that in the Custom Form Studio using the "default" narrative property in 3D Inspection System.
You may wish to pre-print a contract or inspection agreement to take with you to the inspection or email it to your client before the inspection is performed. It’s easy to use 3D Inspection System’s built-in features to automatically merge the document with the appropriate client and site information at print or email time.
