3D Case Studies

Dov Herman used 3D Inspection System features to automatic common tasks as he expanded his business to a multiple inspector firm. Then the housing market economic bust struck hard and he had to down-size his company. However, he was able to continue to maintain his business image and continue to operate his company as if he still had a full staff of helpers.

Ron Tate of Tate's Home Inspections in Arkansas describes the advantages of using a mobile device over the hand written book reporting system he initially used when he first started his business. He produces a final bound report that real estate agents love!

Initially familiar with older Mac based inspection software used by the firm he began with, John Koch knew exactly what he wanted when he started his own business- fast report creation was vital, but in a customizable "narrative" style. After investigating report writing options, 3D Inspection System proved to be his perfect solution, allowing him to create a full narrative report with photos in less than an hour for most homes. He also describes how his call center logs in and sets up his new jobs for him in 3D Office Management remotely.

Jeff Besgrove started out using NCR reports and quickly realized he had to computerize. After trying a Word-based system, he switched to Porter Valley. He soon discovered the Porter Valley software he had purchased was a "nightmare" for him. After advice from a knowledgeable local inspector, he obtained 3D Inspection System software instead, and got his reports done quickly with great referrals. UPDATE: Jeff has retired from the home inspection business.  Best wishes to you Jeff!

Peter Holzman, a Palm Springs, California area Certified CREIA Home Inspector, relates a dialog between himself and a local realtor in which the disparity between his reporting format and another local inspector became evident.
